Job Description
Clarify is an AI‑first healthcare technology company undergoing an exciting commercial transformation. We’re looking for a
Senior Manager, Operations
who can jump in with curiosity, move quickly, and use AI tools as naturally as most people use email.
The Senior Manager, Operations is a high‑impact individual contributor role ideal for someone who wants variety, visibility, and the chance to help shape what AI‑enabled operations looks like at a company that’s genuinely building toward that future. You could be refreshing Pardot segmentation or tightening up a lead-scoring workflow, then jump into deploying a Claude skill for account planning, prepping Board materials, or digging into pricing scenarios for a new health system partnership.
You’ll report to our Head of Strategy and Operations and collaborate with commercial, marketing, finance, and executive teams. You’ll be the person who spots what needs to happen before anyone asks, follows through without reminders, and brings enough range to be useful wherever the organization needs a lift. If you enjoy making teams more effective and finding smarter ways to work, we’d love for you to keep reading.
Does this sound like you?
- You are AI-native in your actual workflow — not aspirationally, but habitually. You use Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools every day to compress timelines, build faster, and produce better output. You can describe specific things you’ve built or automated with AI in the last 30 days, and you’re always experimenting with what’s next
- You are a doer, not a delegator — you get satisfaction from producing the thing, not from managing the process that produces the thing. You’ve written the SQL, built the dashboard, cleaned the data, drafted the email, and fixed the workflow yourself, and you don’t consider any of it beneath you
- You pick up new tools and domains fast — you’ve taught yourself new skills, systems, or industries by diving in, and you’re more energized than intimidated by a two-week sprint on something you’ve never done before. SEO one week, CRM architecture the next, AI skill deployment the week after that — that sounds like a good job to you
- You are relentlessly detail-oriented — you catch the error in the formula, notice the inconsistency in the pipeline data, and flag the misaligned metric before it reaches the executive audience. Your work product doesn’t require a cleanup pass
- You serve well — you understand that your job is to make the people around you more effective, and you take that seriously without ego. Being a shared resource across functions is a feature of this role, not a constraint
- You build things that last — when you solve a problem, you document the process, build the template, or create the workflow so the next person doesn’t have to solve it again. You leave infrastructure behind, not just outputs
- You operate at startup speed — you ship the 80% solution today and iterate tomorrow. You don’t wait for perfect information or a clean brief before starting. You ask one clarifying question and get moving
The Role
The Senior Manager, Operations Will Be a Shared Resource Across Functions, With Scope That Shifts Week To Week Based On Organizational Priority. Broad Responsibility Areas Include
AI‑Enabled Operations \& Workflow Automation
- Build, test, and deploy AI‑powered workflows that improve speed, quality, and consistency across commercial, marketing, and operational teams
- Identify manual processes that can be automated; prototype solutions using AI tools, no‑code platforms, or lightweight scripts before involving engineering
- Train internal teams on AI adoption and create documentation, guides, and best practices
- Stay current on emerging AI capabilities and recommend tools or workflows that enhance productivity
Commercial Operations \& CRM Excellence
- Own Salesforce hygiene, reporting, and pipeline visibility to support high‑value payer and provider deals
- Build and maintain dashboards, workflows, and templates that standardize commercial execution
- Support deal operations across Sales, Solutions, Legal, and Finance to ensure smooth contracting and onboarding
- Coordinate cross‑functional inputs for pricing scenarios, forecasting, and revenue reporting
Marketing \& Growth Operations Support
- Support marketing automation hygiene (Pardot/HubSpot), segmentation cleanup, and campaign tracking
- Build dashboards connecting marketing activity to pipeline outcomes
- Assist with operations for webinars, events, and executive roundtables
- Provide flexible support for digital operations (SEO audits, website updates, email workflows)
Strategic Execution \& Cross‑Functional Coordination
- Prepare Board materials, leadership updates, and quarterly business reviews — pulling data, building slides, and synthesizing insights
- Track and close action items from executive meetings; ensure nothing slips
- Manage operating cadences for cross‑functional initiatives and provide clear, accurate status updates
- Support strategic projects requiring research, structured analysis, or synthesis
- Serve as institutional memory — documenting decisions, context, and next steps
Finance \& Revenue Operations Support
- Partner with FP\&A on commercial financial planning support — pipeline-to-revenue reconciliation, forecast accuracy tracking, and variance analysis on bookings vs. revenue performance
- Support pricing scenario analysis and deal economics modeling for new health system engagements, working with Finance to ensure outcomes-based contract structures are modeled accurately
- Maintain SFDC as a source of truth for revenue reporting — ensure pipeline data feeds accurate forecasting and Board-level commercial metrics
What We Are Looking For
We are always looking for new team members who will add to our culture and have a strong passion for impact. In particular, the Senior Manager, Operations will have:
- 3–6 years in operations, strategy, consulting, BizOps, or Chief of Staff‑adjacent roles
- Demonstrated AI‑native workflow — daily use of AI tools with real examples
- Strong analytical and technical fluency; comfortable learning new systems quickly
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce polished, executive‑ready work
- Strong written communication and ability to synthesize complex information
- Ability to influence cross‑functionally without authority
- Comfort operating in ambiguity, shifting priorities, and high‑velocity environments
Bonus If You Have
- Consulting experience (MBB, Big 4, Advisory Board, Sg2, Chartis, etc.)
- Early‑stage startup or BizOps experience
- Healthcare or healthtech exposure (payer, provider, life sciences)
- Salesforce experience beyond basic user level
- Marketing automation experience (Pardot, HubSpot)
- Non‑linear career path demonstrating adaptability
- SQL, Python, or no‑code automation (Zapier, Make)
- Experience deploying AI tools or running AI enablement sessions
- Exposure to SEO, content operations, or digital marketing
What We Offer You
- Competitive compensation: base salary \+ standard performance bonus \+ equity
- Quality health insurance
- Traditional 401K plan
- Vision, dental, disability, and life insurance
- Flexible Spending Accounts and Commuter Benefits
- Generous PTO
- Flexibility for remote work
- Monthly wellness stipend
- Enterprise AI tools (Claude Enterprise and others)
- Direct exposure to executive leadership, Board-level materials, and the full commercial and operational complexity of a company in active transformation
- A role that will make you significantly better — the breadth of work, the speed of the environment, and the quality bar we hold will compound your skills faster than a narrower, more defined role
- Colleagues who are genuinely excited about building something new and will treat your contribution as important, not as support work
$125,000 - $145,000 a year
