SUMMARY:

Provide in-person/FLEX or online instruction for Legal Studies courses. FLEX instruction allows students to choose on a daily basis whether to attend in-person or virtually through the D2L Brightspace virtual classroom.

Minimum Qualifications

--------------------------

• Juris Doctor degree and at time of hiring, a licensed attorney.
• Be knowledgeable about the paralegal profession and committed to paralegal education and utilization.
• For Paralegal courses, previous experience working with or as a paralegal.
• Previous college teaching experience in the field.
• Previous experience with D2L Brightspace or other Learning Management systems preferred.
• Previous online instruction required where appropriate
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Commitment to teaching a student body diverse in ability, age, ethnicity, race, and sexual orientation.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check.

STATUS/SALARY:

This is a part-time faculty position with a salary to be determined by placement on the adjunct faculty salary schedule.
