Product Owner \| About You

As a Product Owner, you will act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving the delivery of BI and reporting solutions that align with business objectives. You will be responsible for gathering and prioritizing requirements, managing the Azure DevOps backlog, defining user stories and acceptance criteria, leading Agile ceremonies, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with expertise in stakeholder management, Agile methodologies, and BI reporting concepts, who can balance business priorities, remove delivery obstacles, and ensure solutions meet quality and business expectations from intake through production release.

Product Owner \| Day to Day

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document BI/reporting requirements and business objectives.
• Translate business requirements into well-defined Azure DevOps user stories, tasks, and acceptance criteria.
• Own and manage the BI request intake process, backlog prioritization, and delivery roadmap.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including BI developers, data engineers, architects, QA, and business users.
• Lead Agile ceremonies and drive sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and daily standups.
• Monitor delivery progress, manage risks, dependencies, and blockers, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Oversee solution validation, UAT coordination, and business sign-off to ensure quality releases.
• Track Agile delivery metrics and drive continuous improvement, governance, documentation, and change management compliance.

Product Owner \| Skills \& Experience

• 5\+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Project Management, or Business Analysis within a BI, Data Analytics, or technology-driven environment.
• Proven experience partnering with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into user stories, tasks, and acceptance criteria.
• Strong expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies with experience leading sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for backlog management, prioritization, work tracking, sprint execution, and delivery management.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, data engineers, architects, QA teams, and business users to ensure successful project delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and risk management skills, with experience driving UAT, managing dependencies and blockers, and communicating project status, milestones, and outcomes to leadership.
