System and DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive AWS Cloud Engineer with strong Terraform expertise to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing AWS environments, automating infrastructure using Terraform, and collaborating with DevOps and engineering teams to support CI/CD and operational excellence.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFront, IAM, CloudWatch, and related services.
• Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available architectures for production and non-production environments.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and scalability to ensure optimal system health.
• Manage AWS cost optimization initiatives and resource utilization.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Create reusable Terraform modules and manage Terraform state across multiple environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to automate deployments and infrastructure configurations.
• Enforce AWS IAM security best practices and implement security services such as AWS Config, GuardDuty, WAF, and CloudTrail.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and application issues using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third-party monitoring tools.
• Integrate AWS and Terraform workflows into CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate operational and administrative tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Maintain clear technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures

Key Skills \& Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing AWS cloud environments.
• Proven experience with Terraform and infrastructure automation.
• Strong understanding of AWS services including networking, IAM, EC2, CloudFormation, and Lambda.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Solid Linux and Windows administration knowledge.
• Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools and AWS cost optimization practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with attention to detail.
