Job Description
We are seeking a certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient addiction medicine services in Espanola, NM.
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with substance use disorders, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT).
- Prescribe and monitor MAT medications such as buprenorphine and naltrexone, ensuring safety and adherence.
- Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and educate patients on treatment and lifestyle changes.
- Maintain accurate documentation, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide crisis intervention when needed.
- No prior addiction medicine experience required; training will be provided. Must have an active license and be comfortable administering intramuscular injections.
Qualifications include a master's or doctoral degree, at least 1 year of clinical experience, and a passion for helping underserved populations. The role is full-time, clinic-based, with benefits including salary, health insurance, retirement plans, and PTO.
