SAP Business Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced SAP Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will act as the primary liaison between our business stakeholders and the IT department, ensuring that our SAP solutions align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional knowledge of the SAP FI/FM, MM, and SD modules and a talent for translating complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements for our technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead requirements-gathering sessions and workshops with business stakeholders to elicit, define, and document business processes and requirements.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of existing business processes ("as-is") and design optimized future-state processes ("to-be") within the SAP framework.
  • Create detailed functional specification documents for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows (RICEFW) to guide the development team.
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify differences between business requirements and standard SAP system capabilities and propose effective solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with SAP developers to ensure technical solutions are implemented in line with business requirements.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions are high-quality and meet business needs.
  • Provide ongoing functional support and training to business users to drive system adoption and proficiency.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar role within an SAP environment.
  • Strong functional and configuration experience with SAP Finance/Funds Management (FI/FM), Materials Management (MM), and Sales and Distribution (SD) modules is required.
  • Proven ability in business process analysis, requirements engineering, and creating functional specifications. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
  • Active Secret clearance or higher.
