Data Engineer II / III

We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join a growing IT team and help drive data-driven decision making across the business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable data pipelines, working with large datasets, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data workflows
• Transform and optimize data for analytics, performance, and reliability
• Partner with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define data requirements
• Develop and manage large, complex datasets for modeling and reporting
• Improve and automate data processes to enhance efficiency and scalability
• Troubleshoot data issues and optimize pipeline performance
• Integrate new tools and technologies into existing data environments
• Ensure data quality, documentation, and adherence to change management processes

What You Bring

• 3\+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or similar
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
• Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines
• Proficiency in Python or another programming language (Java, Scala, C\+\+, etc.)
• Experience working with large, complex datasets
• Familiarity with databases and tools such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or AWS (Redshift, Elasticsearch)
• Experience with data modeling and schema design
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice to Have

• Experience with object-oriented programming and best practices
• Background in optimizing data infrastructure and automation
