Chemist

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

The Chemist will perform research and/or development in collaboration with others to complete science-based projects. In this role, you will report to the Lab \& Quality Control Manager.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• To support the Lab operation and perform laboratory testing for customers as per standard methods.
• To maintain the lab result in TCSP (SAP) system accordingly.
• To maintain the chemical inventory in laboratory are in good stock level.
• To maintain all the laboratory equipment in good working order and on time calibration.
• To work closely with team to achieve departmental objectives.
• Involve in ISO Documentations in the related area.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safety issues in laboratory areas.
• To make sure all the visitors to the Lab following applicable HSE rules and regulation.
• Participate in Health, Safety \& Environment promotional activities such as risk assessment and suggestions scheme and near miss reporting.
• Ad-hoc responsibility given by superior from time to time.

Skills You Bring:

• Minimum Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Chemistry.
• At least 1 year experience in the laboratory testing will be an added advantage. Fresh graduates are encourage to apply.
• Good communication and team orientation skills
• ISO Awareness Training will be an added advantage.
• Independent, proactive, responsible and goal orientated.
• Organizing, Coordination and Analytical skills
