Senior Engineering Manager

to lead the core engineering squads building

Verily Me

—the central, high-polished "front door" experience across our entire consumer ecosystem. This unified platform connects millions of users seamlessly to our chronic disease management programs, care offerings, and clinical research solutions.

In this role, you won't just maintain legacy systems. You will lead an agile, high-performing team of 8–10 full-stack developers to actively iterate, experiment, and scale a live product. By bridging the gap between complex data integrations and intuitive product design, you will play a pivotal role in making precision healthcare personalized, accessible, and impactful.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead \& Scale Teams:

Manage, mentor, and expand multiple high-performing engineering squads (8–10 full-stack developers), fostering a culture of delivery, technical excellence, and collaboration.

• Own the Technical Strategy:

Define and execute the technical roadmap for the Verily Me ecosystem, aligning engineering output with overarching business goals to maximize user value.

• Drive Full Lifecycle Delivery:

Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from architecture to deployment, ensuring the timely delivery of large-scale, robust consumer solutions.

• Collaborate Cross-Functionally:

Partner closely with Product, Design, and Clinical stakeholders to translate complex multimodal health data into seamless, intuitive user experiences.

• Champion Engineering Excellence:

Guide critical technical decisions, optimize development workflows, and ensure the highest standards of system reliability, performance, and compliance.

Qualifications

• People Leadership:

3\+ years of hands-on technical leadership and people management experience directly overseeing teams of 10\+ developers.

• Technical Background:

Strong foundational experience in full-stack web development and modern software engineering methodologies.

• Execution Track Record:

Proven success directing complex technical projects from concept to on-time delivery within fast-paced environments.

• Education:

BA/BS degree in Computer Science, a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Compensation Details:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $184,500 - $277,000 \+ bonus \+ benefits \+ equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
