Job Description
Senior and Staff Engineers \| New York \| $200,000 to $300,000 base
Founded in 2023\. ARR up 6x in 2025\. Processing capacity scaled 50x. Platform engagement tripled. Enterprise clients across the US, Europe and APAC. A published Google Cloud case study.
This New York AI startup are hiring multiple Senior \& Staff Engineers - here's why they're worth your time.
The Company
A Series A AI platform building the operating system for institutional real estate and finance. Large language models changed the calculation for document-heavy industries, and this company was built from day one to close the gap.
GCP-native stack: Vertex AI, Gemini and Claude models, event-driven architecture processing over 1TB of data per month. No obvious winner has emerged in real estate AI yet. This company is positioned to be it. Series B is next year.
The Team
Backed by Tier 1 European and American investors.
The co-founding CPO has spent nearly two decades applying data and analytics to real estate at institutional scale.
The co-founding CEO holds a Stanford PhD and 12 years of executive experience across Silicon Valley and London.
The CTO is ex-Wise pre-IPO, ex-CTO at Bondsmith where he built from zero to post-Series A, and has founded two companies. He is the named technical voice in a published Google Cloud case study and actively invests as a first cheque in applied AI and dev tooling.
Ten engineers from leading AI, healthtech and fintech startups. Backed by Tier 1 European and American investors.
The Role
Monday morning: reviewing analytics and shipping a hypothesis before standup. Noon: prototype using Claude Code. Wednesday: on a call with a major client, spotting an opportunity nobody had articulated yet. Thursday: spec written, buy-in secured, building started. Friday: the client says "this is exactly what we needed."
You own product areas end to end, from discovery through to customer adoption. No one writes the spec for you. The architectural decisions that define the category are still ahead, not behind you.
The CTO's view on AI in engineering: it is a multiplier on the human base, not a replacement for it.
The judgment to evaluate what AI produces, form an independent view, and know when the output is wrong is the base.
What they are looking for
- Engineers who have shipped product in high-growth B2B environments and can point to the business outcome, not just the code.
- Strong Python and full stack capability.
- Genuine proficiency with AI coding tools and experience with agentic workflows or LLM pipelines.
AI is allowed in the interview. What the CTO listens for is not whether you use it. It is whether you have a point of view on the output.
Engineers who treat AI as a draft to evaluate convert at this company. Engineers who treat it as an answer to copy do not.
If your best work happened at a company where speed and ownership were the culture, not the exception, this is worth a conversation.
Up to $300,000 base, meaningful Series A equity on a standard vesting schedule, unlimited leave, enhanced parental leave, and a wellbeing support package that goes well beyond the standard.
Hybrid, 2-3 days in the New York office.
