Our client, a premier consulting firm in the Energy and Chemicals space, is seeking a dynamic and growth-oriented
Senior Consultant
to join their team. This is a unique role designed for a professional who thrives on delivering high-impact project results while actively driving strategic business growth.
Our client is looking for someone with deep industry expertise in the
oil, gas, or chemical sectors
who can step in as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and help capture new market opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Project Delivery:
Lead and manage end-to-end consulting engagements for major energy and chemical clients, ensuring high-quality execution and measurable strategic value.
- Business Development:
Partner with the leadership team to drive revenue growth by identifying new market opportunities, building relationships with industry executives, and leading proposal development (RFPs).
- Subject Matter Expertise:
Apply deep sector knowledge (upstream/downstream oil \& gas, refining, petrochemicals, or specialty chemicals) to solve complex operational, strategic, or digital transformation challenges.
- Account Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, ensuring exceptional satisfaction and uncovering opportunities for account expansion.
- Team Mentorship:
Guide, coach, and mentor junior consultants on project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Qualifications \& Experience
- Industry Expertise:
5–7\+ years of management consulting experience, with a distinct and proven track record working specifically within the
Oil \& Gas, Energy, or Chemical
industries.
- Commercial Acumen:
Demonstrated success in a business development or "seller-doer" capacity, including experience originating leads, writing proposals, and helping close deals.
- Core Skills:
Strong structured problem-solving capabilities, financial acumen, and excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Business, or a related field (MBA or advanced industry certifications are a plus).
- Travel:
Willingness to travel to client sites as required by project needs
