Senior Accountant

Our client, a based client, is looking to hire a Senior Accountant for their growing team. This is a full-time role, but the client's method of onboarding is consultant-to-hire.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Prepare internal management reports and financial analysis
• Support annual audit and preparation of audit schedules
• Assist in compliance with federal, state, and private funding requirements
• Help maintain internal controls and accounting policies
• Partner with the finance team to improve systems, policies, and processes
• Assist with special projects and ad-hoc analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, required
• CPA or CPA track preferred
• 5\+ years of progressive accounting experience
