- Integrate AI to automate tagging, content suggestions, and user experience optimization based on IA principles
Who we're looking for
As an Information Architect on our intranet team you will play an important role on our
intranet transformation project.
This role will focus on
understanding colleague and business needs to design an intuitive, efficient, and scalable information architecture for our intranet
.
You will be responsible for
creating the navigation, taxonomy, and overall content structure that will enhance user experience and support organizational goals.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Design and develop the intranet’s information architecture, including navigation, site maps, and content taxonomy.
- Create wireframes and navigation models to guide intranet design and development teams.
- Ensure content is organized logically to improve findability and usability.
- Develop clear, consistent naming conventions and metadata schemas to describe content accurately.
- Work closely with content owners, UX designers, and developers to implement and refine the architecture.
- Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback to optimize the intranet structure.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of the information architecture.
- Communicate architecture decisions and benefits to stakeholders to support adoption and change management.
- Align intranet architecture with organizational standards and compliance requirements.
- Ensure information architecture works seamlessly across different devices and platforms.

Must Have Skills
:
- Strong experience as an
Information Architect
(preferably intranet or enterprise CMS projects)
- Deep understanding of
information architecture principles and user-centered design
- Hands-on experience creating
site maps, wireframes, navigation flows, and taxonomies
- Experience with
SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365
(intranet platforms)
- Ability to translate complex information into
clear, structured, user-friendly designs
- Strong
stakeholder communication and collaboration
skills
- Knowledge of
usability testing methods and tools
- Familiarity with
accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices
- Experience working in
cross-functional and agile teams
Key skills, qualifications, and experience
- Proven experience as an
Information Architect, preferably with intranet or enterprise content management projects.
- Strong
understanding of information architecture principles, user-centered design, and content strategy.
- Proficiency in
creating site maps, wireframes, navigation flows, and taxonomies.
- Experience with
intranet \& content management platforms, preferably SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365\.
- Ability to
analyze complex information and translate it into clear, user-friendly structures.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Must be persuasive and present fact-based recommendations.
- Familiarity with
usability testing methods and tools
.
- Knowledge of
accessibility standards and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Library Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field preferred.
- Experience working in
global cross-functional teams and agile environments.
