Position Summary
A Human Resources Generalist exhibits organizational and problem-solving skills. Demonstrates self-motivation, leadership, and ability to make decisions regarding work responsibilities. Reports directly to the Manager of Human Resources.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assists in the areas of employment/recruitment, personnel records, insurance benefits, safety training and employee/ labor relations
- Conducts new employee orientations and ensures personnel are informed of policies and procedures.
- Ensure accurate completion of new hire documentation and compliance requirements
- Maintains and updates employee files and ensure records are in compliance with State, Federal and Company policies and procedures.
- Assist employees with benefits questions and enrollment changes
- Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity of employee information
- Follows company policies and procedures in providing the most accurate information in a confidential manner
- Responsible for administering and maintaining FMLA, ADA, and other applicable leaves throughout the company.
- Assist with conflict resolution and performance improvement process
- Coordinate employee separations, exit interviews, and final pay processes
- Other duties as assigned
What We Are Looking For
Must be a team player
- 1-3 years of experience in the Human Resource field
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or a related field
- Proficient with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Must be attentive to detail, able to multitask, and possess excellent interpersonal skills
- Required to meet scheduled metrics, standards and/or goals
- Must be a team player
