Content Marketing Assistant

Overview: We are seeking an individual to learn and utilize WordPress Gutenberg for best SEO optimization

Key Responsibilities

• Optimize WordPress (Gutenberg editor) pages and blog posts for SEO best practices, including:
• Proper heading structure (H1–H4)
• Keyword placement and density
• Meta titles and meta descriptions
• Internal linking strategies
• Image optimization (alt text, file naming)
• Assist with Shopify product and page SEO, including:
• Product descriptions optimized for search engines
• Collection and page metadata optimization
• URL structure and keyword alignment
• Conduct basic keyword research to support content updates and new page creation
• Update and maintain website content to improve clarity, accuracy, and SEO performance
• Utilize ChatGPT and other AI tools to assist with content drafting, optimization, and ideation while maintaining brand voice and accuracy
• Track and implement SEO recommendations using tools such as HubSpot and Google Search insights
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency across platforms
• Maintain organized documentation and workflows for ongoing SEO initiatives

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Sense for marketing
• Skilled at writing
• Experience in SEO
• 1–2 years of experience in an administrative or customer service role
• Experience using HubSpot
• Experience using ChatGPT
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively
• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Positive, professional attitude with a willingness to learn and grow

Pay: From $15\.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
