Overview

As an Online Tutor - AP United States Government and Politics, you’ll help students build a clear understanding of government, political institutions, and civic processes. You’ll tailor instruction to each learner, plan focused lessons, and use learning technology and e-learning platforms to keep online sessions engaging and accessible. Your impact: By adapting lessons to students’ needs, you help them strengthen subject knowledge and confidence in their coursework.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized instruction in AP United States Government and Politics, adapting explanations and activities to students’ learning needs.
• Develop curriculum and lesson plans that support subject learning, reading comprehension, and writing skills.
• Use e-learning platforms and other learning technology to deliver lessons, monitor progress, and share feedback.
• Maintain an organized, supportive online learning environment using effective classroom management.
• Adjust teaching approaches for students with disabilities and coordinate learning support as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Experience in tutoring, teaching, classroom experience, or other work with students; experience working with children is valuable.
• Strong English communication and writing skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
• Knowledge of literacy education, special education, or instructional adaptability is an asset.

Pay: $18\.00 per hour
