Role Summary
We are seeking a seasoned
Senior Business Analyst
with a deep-rooted background in the
Semiconductor Supply Chain
to lead the digital transformation of our procurement and production tracking systems. You will be responsible for mapping complex end-to-end flows—from initial Demand signals to Supplier WIP and final Inventory—ensuring our data architecture aligns perfectly with our SAP ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Engineering:
Lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Specifications.
- E2E Process Mapping:
Architect and document comprehensive end-to-end supply chain flows, specifically:
Demand → Purchase Order (PO) → Supplier Integration → WIP Tracking → Inventory Management → SAP Integration.
- Supplier Portal Strategy:
Capture and define functional requirements for our Supplier Portal, focusing on real-time Work-in-Progress (WIP) tracking and automated data exchanges.
- SAP Data Alignment:
Define and manage data mapping exercises to ensure all supply chain milestones and attributes are seamlessly integrated into
SAP
.
- Validation \& Governance:
Establish and document rigorous validation rules for POs, quantities, production stages, and delivery dates to maintain high data integrity.
- Exception Management:
Proactively identify edge cases and exception-handling scenarios within the supply chain to minimize production delays.
- BI \& Analytics:
Define the logic for business-critical reports, executive dashboards, and operational KPIs to monitor supplier performance and inventory health.
- Testing \& UAT:
Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinate testing phases, and secure formal sign-offs from global stakeholders.
Required Skills \& Qualifications
- Experience:
7–10 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record in the
Semiconductor industry
(Mandatory).
- Domain Expertise:
Advanced knowledge of Semiconductor manufacturing processes, including procurement cycles, WIP stages (Fab, Sort, Assembly, Test), and inventory valuation.
- Systems Knowledge:
Strong exposure to
SAP
(ECC or S/4HANA) and a deep understanding of how supply chain data flows through ERP modules.
- Technical Literacy:
Solid understanding of data integrations, API logic, and how disparate systems communicate in a global manufacturing environment.
- Analytical Rigor:
Ability to translate complex manufacturing "physics" into clear, logic-based business rules and validation schemas.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience with B2B integration standards (e.g., Rosetta Net, EDI) used in semiconductor manufacturing.
- High proficiency in SQL for data profiling and validation.
- Strong communication skills capable of influencing stakeholders in both San Francisco and overseas manufacturing hubs.
