About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Web and Mobile Software Developer to join our remote team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure, responsive, and scalable digital experiences tailored for healthcare applications. Your focus will be on creating user-friendly interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks, managing content through Optimizely CMS, and developing cross-platform mobile applications with React Native or similar frameworks. A key aspect of this role involves implementing secure authentication protocols, including JWT tokenization and Azure Entra External ID integration, to ensure compliance with healthcare security standards such as HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in front-end web and mobile development
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6\+), HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with React, Vue.js, and/or Angular frameworks
• Hands-on experience building cross-platform mobile applications with React Native
• Strong understanding of JWT-based authentication and API security practices
• Knowledge of Azure Entra External ID (Azure AD B2C / CIAM) integration
• Experience with RESTful API consumption and Postman for testing and debugging APIs
• Familiarity with Microsoft.NET Razor Pages, MVC, and MVVM design patterns
• Experience working within Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Understanding of healthcare compliance standards, including HIPAA
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Optimizely CMS (Episerver) solutions, including reusable components and content-driven experiences
• Create responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces adhering to mobile-first design principles
• Implement and support front-end applications using React, Vue.js, or Angular frameworks
• Build cross-platform mobile applications utilizing React Native or other frameworks, sharing design patterns and business logic where appropriate
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT tokens and Azure Entra External ID
• Integrate applications with RESTful APIs, ensuring secure data transmission and role-based access control
• Conduct regular security audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations
• Test, validate, and debug APIs and authentication flows using Postman and other tools
• Optimize applications for performance, accessibility (WCAG), SEO, and scalability
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and architectural discussions to promote best practices
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend developers, and product managers
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of software architecture, design, and deployment procedures
• Provide technical troubleshooting and support for front-end, mobile, and API-related issues across environments
