Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate

Kindergarten Teacher

to join our faith-based educational community in Detroit, MI. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing and student-centered learning environment that supports the academic, social, and spiritual growth of young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction aligned with kindergarten curriculum requirements.
• Create and maintain a positive, faith-based classroom culture that encourages respect, kindness, and collaboration.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote a safe and productive learning environment.
• Utilize student-centered learning approaches to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of all students.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student success and school goals.
• Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing timely feedback and support.

Qualifications

• Experience as a kindergarten teacher or in early childhood education.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Commitment to student-centered learning and differentiated instruction.
• Ability to foster and maintain a faith-based classroom culture.
• Collaborative mindset with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of standards-based instruction and assessment practices.
