Senior Procurement Manager

Job Description:

As a Senior Project Procurement Manager (PPM) for Advanced Manufacturing (AM), you will lead all purchasing, subcontracting, expediting, and supplier quality surveillance activities for Mega Projects (Cost of $750M\+) and other strategically critical projects, regardless of value. This project-based role supports U.S. locations and focuses on complex and high‑profile initiatives.

You will manage procurement transactions for materials, equipment, and subcontracted services, bringing deep expertise in procurement principles, practices, and execution to ensure successful project delivery. The Senior PPM is a trusted leader who understands how procurement integrates with project functions, delivers value-added results, and operates in alignment with established policies and procedures. Strong subject-matter expertise in specific commodities is essential. The Senior PPM reports directly to the Director of Supply Management and works closely with Project Managers or Project Services Managers while assigned to projects.

Qualifications:

• 18\+ years of experience in engineering and/or capital construction purchasing, contracting, expediting, supplier quality management and material management.
• Experience using MS Office tools, including intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills.
• A drive to solve complex and challenging problems.
• A desire to manage a team of procurement professionals through demonstrated inspirational leadership.
• Willingness to travel 100% (travel will be in the Southeast U.S.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a business, construction, supply chain, or operations management field, or equivalent project experience. Master’s degree preferrable.
• 10\+ years of experience in Specialized Manufacturing, Biopharmaceutical/Life Science Manufacturing Projects, or Data Centers (preferred).
