We are seeking a dynamic Accountant to join our fast-paced Accounting and Finance team. This role involves handling day-to-day accounting operations with a focus on AR and AP, ensuring financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1\. Managing the full cycle of Accounts Receivable including billing, cash posting, and collections.

2\. Handling the full cycle of Accounts Payable including invoice verification, payment processing, and vendor communication.

3\. Performing monthly bank reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies promptly.

4\. Preparing and submitting weekly/monthly reports, including AR aging reports, AP reports, and cash flow reports.

5\. Assisting with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.

6\. Collaborating with the finance team to improve financial processes and ensure financial integrity.

7\. Participating in financial audits and assisting with audit preparation.

8\. Ensuring compliance with accounting policies, regulations, and best practices.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:

1\. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2\. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an AR/AP role, preferably within the Accounting and Finance industry.

3\. Strong knowledge of AR, AP, invoicing, cash application, and bank reconciliations.

4\. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

5\. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.

6\. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

7\. The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

8\. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of management.

9\. A proactive approach to work, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
