Role Description
The Assessment Support Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Phoenix Area. This role provides day-to-day support for district and school assessment systems, including assisting staff with test setup, scheduling, and administration. The specialist will troubleshoot technical issues related to assessment platforms, coordinate with educators and support staff to ensure smooth testing experiences, and monitor data integrity and completion rates. Responsibilities include responding to support requests, documenting recurring issues, maintaining user guides and training materials, and communicating clearly with school teams about timelines and procedures. The role also involves collaborating with district leadership to improve assessment processes and support accurate reporting for instructional decision-making.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills for reviewing assessment data, identifying issues, and supporting data accuracy.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills to resolve assessment platform and device-related problems.
- Candidates should possess Customer Support and Communication skills to assist school staff, respond to inquiries, and explain procedures clearly.
- Experience working with educational technology systems or student information systems is beneficial.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a school district environment.
- Comfort collaborating with teachers, administrators, and support staff and maintaining a service-oriented approach.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or degree in education, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a K–12 setting, assessment coordination, or IT support is a plus.
