Production Coordinator
Full Time • Mansfield, TX
Job Summary:
The parts and receiving coordinator plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by ensuring the efficient handling of parts and materials.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise a small team consisting of Order Pullers, Shipping, Inventory, and Receiving Team Members
- Delegate tasks to the team as required.
- Keeping team members on task.
- Stepping in to assist Team Members to complete required tasks on time.
- Coordinate and monitor schedules, appointments, and order supplies as needed to support the manufacturing process.
- Print and prepare Build Documents for the Order Pullers.
- Inventory management, including analyzing variances, processing returns, part identification and labeling, etc.
- Implementing Continuous Improvements through corrective actions and risk analysis
- Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring that parts are available when needed and that there are no shortages or excesses.
- Ensure that all parts received meet quality standards and are properly labeled and stored.
- Communicate with various departments to ensure timely delivery and proper inventory management.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that received and shipped materials meet quality standards.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Previous experience in a production environment, ideally in a similar role such as a supervisor or lead, is preferred.
1\+ year of proven experience in parts picking, shipping, and receiving, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Working not only as a Team Member but also as a Team Leader.
Excels at time management, is organized, and detail-oriented.
Works well in a fast-paced workplace and is good at multitasking.
Experience with production scheduling, coordinating, and supervision is a plus.
Strong verbal and written skills are essential for effective coordination and team management.
Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certifications in logistics or management are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing.
Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
