Basic c £50,000-£60,000 plus car and benefits. Bonus on overachieving budget

We’re looking for a driven and relationship-focused Key Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of customers across the UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia. You will be joining a global market leader within the industrial machinery sector.

In this role, you’ll spend around 80% of your time managing and developing existing accounts—ensuring customers continue to rely on you for their spares and aftermarket needs. The remaining 20% will focus on identifying and converting new business opportunities within your territory.

This is a field-sales role, with your base in South Yorkshire. You can expect to be on the road 3–4 days per week, working closely with customers on-site.

While the sales process isn’t highly technical,

you will have a background in heavy engineering (service \& repair), mechanical engineering, metals recycling, metals manufacturing, material handling or a similar field.

Your customers will include engineering, maintenance, factory, and site managers—so this is a hands-on role where you’ll be comfortable working in practical, industrial environments.

About You

• Proven experience in a similar role (Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Manager, or Business Development Manager) within engineering or manufacturing
• Qualified to HNC level in a technical or business discipline
• Willing and able to travel across the UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia
• Comfortable using CRM systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commercially astute with a proactive approach to business development
• Excellent relationship-building abilities
• Full UK driving licence

The role will be office based in South Yorkshire if not out with customers. Hybrid working is
