Business Analyst- Unemployment Insurance

Position Description

CSG is seeking a Business Analyst for our national Unemployment Insurance practice with the following skills and experience. You will join our consulting staff and will work on highly productive project teams delivering our services to state government agencies nationwide.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating project documentation including meeting minutes, deliverables, project status reports, and presentations
• Tracking issues, risks, action items, and decisions using standard project management techniques and tools
• Developing use cases and mapping back to requirements for traceability purposes
• Working with users to define and develop business requirements
• Developing/executing test scripts based on the review of business requirements/use cases
• Executing both manual and automated testing of functional, user acceptance and data conversion is preferred
• Logging test script results and defects
• Communicating project issues and risks to the project management team

Qualifications include:

• 3 to 5 years’ experience with Unemployment Insurance (Tax and/or Benefits)
• Experience with MS Office suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in dealing with senior leadership and executive stakeholders
• Experience using and configuring Application Lifecycle Management tools (e.g., Microsoft Azure DevOps, Atlassian Jira) is preferred

Travel Requirement:

Up to 50% on average. Consultants work remote until needed at the client location.
