Senior Business Operations Associate (Observability / Procurement / Automation)

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Operations Associate to support a growing Observability function within an IT organization. This role is responsible for driving complex data analysis, reporting, and operational support, with a strong emphasis on financial and procurement-related processes.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in Excel-driven reporting, process improvement, and automation, with a proven ability to support business operations at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and deliver complex analysis and reporting to support business and operational decision-making
• Manage and maintain staffing profiles and resource data across internal systems
• Support procurement-related activities, including spend tracking, vendor coordination, and financial analysis
• Leverage advanced Excel to analyze large datasets, build models, and generate actionable insights
• Design and implement automation solutions using Power Automate to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to streamline workflows
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy of data and alignment across operations
• Support ongoing development of the Observability function through reporting, insights, and operational support

Required Qualifications

• 5\+ years of experience in business operations, financial analysis, procurement, or related fields
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
• Hands-on experience with Power Automate or similar workflow automation tools
• Background in procurement, vendor management, or spend analysis
• Experience managing and working with large, complex datasets
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
