Senior Business Analyst

Job Description:

This is a strong fit for someone who combines business analysis, project coordination, data analytics, and operational improvement experience. The role requires strong SQL capability, comfort working with large data sets, and the ability to lead projects from requirements through testing, implementation, and post-delivery support.

What You’ll Tackle:

• Lead requirements gathering across operations, technology, vendors, and business stakeholders

• Analyze large data sets to identify trends, reporting needs, and process improvement opportunities

• Write clear business requirements for system enhancements and operational projects

• Support system implementation, integration testing, UAT, and production readiness

• Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder updates

• Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and operational workflows

• Build management reports and business analytics based on user requests

• Maintain documentation for critical applications, reports, processes, and analytics workflows

• Coach and support junior analysts during project delivery cycles

What You Bring:

• Extensive experience as a Business Analyst with a strong understanding of data.

• Banking, lending, financial services, or related regulated industry experience

• Strong SQL skills with experience manipulating and analyzing large data sets

• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency

• Experience writing business requirements and working with IT or vendor teams

• Hands-on experience with UAT, system testing, implementation support, and process improvement

• Strong communication skills with ability to present updates to senior stakeholders

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Self-starter mindset with strong attention to detail and follow-through
