Position Summary:
FOXX Development Inc. is seeking a SVP of Product Management to lead the Company’s overall product strategy, product management, product planning, digital operations/digital transformation and commercialization activities across its mobile devices, carrier, Lifeline, AI/IoT, and strategic product businesses. The SVP of Product Management will serve as the primary executive owner of the Company’s product roadmap and product execution, connecting customer and market requirements with Sales, Carrier Business, R\&D, Engineering, ODM/OEM partners, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations. This role is expected to ensure that FOXX develops the right products for the right customers and markets, while driving products from initial business requirements through development, certification, launch, commercialization, and lifecycle management. The SVP of Product Management will work closely with the EVP/Sales leadership. While the EVP organization primarily focuses on customer development, carrier relationships, strategic accounts, partnerships, and revenue generation, the SVP of Product Management will own the product strategy, product readiness, and execution required to convert those opportunities into commercially viable products and programs.
Key Responsibilities
1\. Product Strategy \& Portfolio Management
- Define and maintain FOXX’s overall product strategy, portfolio priorities, and product roadmap.
- Evaluate product opportunities based on customer demand, market potential, competitive landscape, technical feasibility, investment requirements, and expected commercial return.
- Establish clear priorities across existing and emerging product categories, including: Carrier devices and programs; Lifeline products; Open-market devices; Strategic AI-enabled products; IoT and other emerging product opportunities.
- Recommend product investment priorities to executive management.
- Develop and maintain product business cases, including target pricing, product cost, margin expectations, development investment, volume assumptions, and expected ROI.
- Establish product lifecycle and portfolio review processes to determine when products should be launched, expanded, repositioned, or discontinued.
- Establish a structured voice-of-customer and competitive intelligence process to ensure product roadmap decisions are grounded in customer needs, market trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies.
2\. Carrier \& Customer Product Management
- Serve as the executive product interface between FOXX’s commercial organization and internal/external development resources.
- Translate carrier and strategic customer requirements into clear product requirements and execution plans.
- Establish a formal product intake and prioritization process for customer-driven opportunities to ensure commercial commitments, business value, technical feasibility, resource requirements, and development priorities are evaluated before significant development resources are committed.
- Partner closely with EVP/Sales and Carrier Business teams on: Carrier product opportunities; RFP/RFQ responses; Product positioning; Product specifications; Certification requirements; Launch readiness; Commercialization planning.
- Ensure customer commitments are aligned with actual technical capability, development timelines, cost, and operational readiness.
3\. Product Development \& R\&D Alignment
- Provide business and product direction to R\&D and engineering teams based on market and customer priorities.
- Establish clear Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), product specifications, milestones, and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate internal R\&D resources and external ODM/OEM partners to ensure product development remains aligned with commercial objectives.
- Participate in major product architecture, feature, platform, and supplier decisions from a product and business perspective.
- Identify gaps between customer requirements and existing supplier/R\&D capabilities and develop appropriate solutions.
The VP of Product Management is not intended to replace the technical leadership of R\&D or Engineering; rather, the VP of Product Management defines what should be built, for whom, why, and when, while technical teams determine how the product is engineered and implemented.
4\. Product Execution \& Commercialization
- Own end-to-end product execution from concept through commercial launch.
- Establish product milestones covering: Requirements definition; Development; Prototype \& sample readiness; Testing \& Certification’; Production readiness’ Customer acceptance; Commercial launch
- Coordinate Sales, R\&D, Quality, Testing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Marketing to ensure launch readiness.
- Identify product execution risks early and drive cross-functional resolution.
- Ensure product programs have clear owners, timelines, deliverables, and escalation mechanisms.
5\. Carrier Certification \& Product Readiness
- Oversee product-level readiness for carrier certification and customer acceptance.
- Work with Engineering, Testing, Quality, and carrier-facing teams to ensure certification requirements are incorporated early in product development.
- Track certification dependencies, testing schedules, technical issues, and launch risks.
- Ensure that FOXX does not make commercial commitments without sufficient product and certification readiness.
6\. GTM \& Market Commercialization
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and GTM teams to develop product positioning and commercialization strategies.
- Define target customer, use case, competitive differentiation, pricing considerations, and product value proposition.
- Support carrier, open-market, Lifeline, and strategic-product launch planning.
- Ensure product development decisions remain connected to actual market demand and revenue opportunities.
- Monitor post-launch product performance and recommend improvements based on customer feedback, sales results, quality performance, and market response.
7\. Cross-Functional Product Leadership
- Serve as the central product coordination point across Sales/EVP, Product, R\&D/Engineering, Quality \& Testing, Supply Chain/Operations, and Marketing/GTM.
- Build scalable product management capabilities and define clear roles and responsibilities across Product Management, Product Planning, Carrier Product Management, and related functions.
- Establish standardized product review, prioritization, decision-making, and governance processes, supported by measurable product KPIs.
- Provide executive management with clear visibility into product priorities, development and certification progress, investment, risks, launch readiness, and commercial performance.

Qualifications
- 15\+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, digital operations experience, mobile devices, telecommunications, consumer electronics, or related industries.
- Significant leadership experience in smartphone, wireless device, carrier, OEM/ODM, or telecommunications environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing products from customer requirements through development, certification, launch, and commercialization.
- Demonstrated track record of converting major carrier or strategic customer opportunities into successfully launched and commercially scaled products.
- Strong understanding of U.S. carrier product development and certification processes.
- Experience working with major wireless carriers, OEMs, ODMs, chipset/platform providers, and global supply-chain partners strongly preferred.
- Ability to bridge commercial requirements and technical execution.
- Strong executive-level communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Experience managing geographically distributed teams and international development/manufacturing partners.
- Proven ability to prioritize investments and resources in an entrepreneurial, cost-conscious environment.
