Alera Group Absence Administrators, an Alera Group Group Company (also known as AbSolve) is seeking an Account Executive – Leave of Absence (LOA) to join our Greater Philadelphia-based team. Responsibilities:

Role Overview

The Account Executive supports and grows Alera Group’s National Absence Practice by facilitating the RFP process and delivering absence management administrative and outsourcing solutions across advisory, ancillary, and administrative pillars. This role serves as a national practice generalist and absence administration specialist, acting as the subject‑matter expert for both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent Alera Group’s National Absence Practice from an administrative and outsourcing capabilities perspective in marketing, sales, and general inquiry activities
  • Manage, grow, renew, and retain broker and client relationships, driving revenue through tailored absence management solutions
  • Support the RFP and sales process for leave of absence (LOA) outsourcing opportunities across Alera Group offices and select broker and carrier channels
  • Lead client implementations, including onboarding new clients and expanding services for existing clients
  • Own the client renewal process and manage the full annual client lifecycle
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for designated clients, maintaining regular communication, meetings, and reporting cadences
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships to ensure high service quality, client satisfaction, and retention
  • Manage client stewardship activities, including reporting, escalations, legislative updates, program changes, and issue resolution
  • Consult and advise clients on best practices related to leave policy, process, communication, and data management
  • Monitor program data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost efficiency, and enhanced user experience
  • Collaborate closely with National Absence Practice colleagues, retail brokers, consultants, clients, and partners to support growth and service delivery

Qualifications:

  • 10\+ years licensed Employee Benefits account management or equivalent experience
  • Established and current knowledge of absence management and related legislation (FMLA, statutory disability and paid leave, group STD, etc)
  • Excellent listening, communication and presentation skills across all relevant media (MS Office Suite, Adobe, etc)
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess data and make credible recommendations
  • Experience with benefits administration software and absence management systems
  • Active Life \& Health license required (or must obtain within 90 days).
