Lanner Hospitality Group is a growing restaurant group currently operating 5 store locations. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a professional and detail-oriented In-House Accountant to manage our daily financial operations, optimize accounting processes, and help us make informed financial decisions.

Role Description

This is a full-time, Boston-based Accountant role with remote work flexibility. The Accountant will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, processing payroll and invoices, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Other tasks include budgeting and forecasting, analyzing financial data to provide insights for business decisions, and collaborating with management to optimize financial processes. The Accountant will play a key role in supporting the restaurant's financial health and stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle accounting for all 5 store locations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Perform daily bookkeeping and perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Process payroll for all store employees accurately and on time.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Profit \& Loss, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow).
  • Consolidate financial data across all 5 locations to provide a clear picture of overall company health.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations, and assist with annual tax preparation.
  • Monitor inventory costs and assist with budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2-3\+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Experience in the Restaurant/F\&B, Retail, or multi-location business sectors is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is preferred
  • Experience with Payroll Processing and Accounts Payable/Receivable
  • Knowledge of Accounting Software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
