Accounting Manager (SeriesB)

Overview

Our client is a rapidly growing Series B SaaS company that is scaling globally and looking to bring on an Accounting Manager in a newly-created role. This individual will own month-end close and revenue-related accounting work in a fast-paced NetSuite environment, lead an offshore accounting team, and drive initiatives to bring functions in-house.

What you'll do

• Lead month-end and year-end close: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and timely financial reporting
• Own revenue-related accounting including billing and revenue recognition for SaaS products
• Manage and mentor an offshore accounting team; build processes and roadmaps to transition and scale work in-house
• Operate NetSuite for core GL/AP/AR, intercompany, revenue, and reporting workflows
• Design and implement automation and process improvements (RPA, scripts, NetSuite optimizations, Power Query, Power BI) to increase accuracy and efficiency
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, product, and revenue ops to ensure accounting alignment and clean financials
• Build dashboards and reporting tools to drive insights for finance and business partners
• Maintain strong internal controls and GAAP compliance; support audits and policy documentation

What we're looking for

• 5\+ years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to SaaS environments
• Proven experience managing and partnering with offshore teams and leading transition and integration efforts
• Strong technical skills: advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, macros), Power Query, Power BI; familiarity with automation tools (RPA, SuiteScript, Celigo, Workato, etc.)
• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA-track preferred
• Hands-on NetSuite experience is a HUGE plus
• Detail-oriented, process-driven, collaborative, and comfortable in a fast-scaling startup environment
