Actuarial Manager / Senior Manager – Life Annuities

Location:

Remote (Hybrid) – Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Hartford, New York City, or Seattle

Salary:

$130,000-200,000 \+ Bonus

Actuarial Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Life Actuary with a strong background in annuity products to join a growing actuarial consulting team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in annuity pricing, product development, inforce management, valuation, hedging, and risk management. This role offers the opportunity to lead client engagements, mentor junior actuaries, and provide strategic guidance on complex actuarial initiatives in a collaborative consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• 5\+ years of actuarial experience within the life insurance and annuities industry
• ASA required; FSA designation preferred
• Experience with annuity pricing, product development, inforce management, valuation, and/or hedging
• Lead complex actuarial analyses and manage multiple client engagements from project execution through delivery
• Present findings and recommendations to clients and senior stakeholders with confidence and clarity
• Ensure technical accuracy and provide oversight and mentorship to junior team members
• Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging opportunities within the annuity landscape
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills with a client-focused approach
• Experience with actuarial modeling platforms such as Moody's AXIS or FIS Insurance Risk Suite (Prophet), along with programming languages such as R or Python, is a plus
