INNOCEAN USA, a full-service ad agency located in Huntington Beach, CA, is seeking a Senior Digital Producer (lng-term contract) to join our growing team! We don't just look for fresh talent, we look for fresh thinkers.

West coast applicants are highly preferred, but we welcome remote applicants willing and able to work PST hours in the following US states: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, MA, MI, MO, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA

OVERVIEW:

The successful candidate must be project owner in all stages of production: creating and maintaining project information, vendor management, project financials, facilitating project team meetings, reporting on project status and health, managing milestones, escalating issues, and assisting in issue resolution.

This position must keep their projects on track by troubleshooting, predicting and communicating status and risks. The ideal candidate can accurately assess technical needs by defining project scope, timing, budget and estimate, and guarantees meeting those definitions within agreed variance.

This person must be creative and agency advocate who effectively guides the agency/client through complex and large-scale projects from beginning to end. Lastly, the Sr Digital Producer will also manage their own program and be a leader who is able to mentor and teach a team of junior and mid-level producers.

Work ranges from online media projects \& CRM to large/complex website projects, enhancements, and maintenance items.

Our Senior Producers are primarily internal-facing and interact with key individuals to facilitate initiatives through the digital project lifecycle. You will work closely with Account, UX, Creative, Strategy, Data Sciences, Development, and vendor team(s) to ensure the project is on schedule, within scope and produced to the highest quality. Senior Producers are also expected to interface and communicate regularly with our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Consistently advocates for the creative and manages expectations to help make development successful.
  • Routes work for internal approvals to ensure internal quality controls are transpiring (creative approvals, proofreading, product correctness, production, etc.)
  • Summarizes and proposes solutions to core challenges that the team may face.
  • Development and procurement of product correct copy and visual assets (photography, CG, video, etc.) includes working with both first-hand asset developers as well as second-hand assets from print/video shoots for content.
  • Has a strong understanding of web development practices (user experience, creative development, data integration, etc.), while also understanding how content management systems work.
  • Active in the mentorship and management of mid-level to junior personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5-7 years of experience managing interactive projects, preferably in a consulting or agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, ideally with certifications such as a CSM (Scrum Master) or a PMP.
  • A solid understanding of creative development and interactive design process with an ability to manage the project life cycle from start to finish.
  • Experience managing multiple work streams and program/portfolio oversight.
  • Competent knowledge and experience of one or more of the following: software development life cycles, web technologies, web development processes and the delivery of solutions with creative and engineering components, media and advertising projects, digital strategy projects, and CRM workflow.
  • Competent understanding of project management methodology including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications, perform resource allocations, and run team meetings.
  • Automotive marketing experience is preferred.
  • Advanced user in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Excel, Visio, etc.), Google Suite (Drive, Doc, Sheets, etc.) and have similar proficiency in the tools we use (Smartsheet, Basecamp, etc.).

Salary range: $115,000 to $120,000\. Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: client, experience, training, and transferable skills.
