Job Details
We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Sports Sales leader to drive growth across our sports segment, with a focus on broadcasters, sports media companies, leagues, rights holders, and platform partners. This is a player-coach role for a proven B2B SaaS seller who can both personally lead and close complex opportunities while also helping shape segment strategy, sales rigor, and repeatable growth.
You will be responsible for building and advancing a strong sports pipeline, leading high-value enterprise conversations, and expanding Amagi’s footprint across the sports broadcast ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings a mix of new business leadership, consultative selling, executive presence, and media industry fluency, with a strong understanding of how sports content is produced, distributed, and monetized across linear and streaming environments.
What you’ll do
Sports Segment Sales Leadership
- Own and grow a portfolio of strategic sports and broadcaster accounts across the sports media ecosystem
- Act as a player-coach by directly driving revenue while helping shape sales strategy, discipline, and best practices for the segment
- Lead complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise SaaS sales cycles from prospecting through close
- Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers across broadcasters, leagues, rights holders, and distribution partners
- Navigate long deal cycles involving operational, technical, commercial, and executive stakeholders
New Business \& Account Growth
- Identify, pursue, and close new logo opportunities within the sports and broadcast landscape
- Expand existing strategic accounts by uncovering new use cases across streaming, monetization, live production, playout, and distribution workflows
- Develop account plans for top-tier customers and partner closely with internal teams to drive long-term growth
- Structure multi-year SaaS agreements that align customer needs with Amagi’s value proposition
Cross-Functional Execution
- Partner closely with Product, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, and RevOps to advance deals and remove obstacles
- Bring market feedback into the organization to help influence product priorities and GTM strategy for the sports segment
- Contribute to accurate forecasting, pipeline quality, and disciplined opportunity management
- Help establish scalable processes, messaging, and sales plays tailored to sports customers
Market Leadership
- Represent Amagi externally in industry events, customer forums, and executive discussions across sports media and broadcasting
- Serve as a subject matter leader on the evolving needs of sports broadcasters and streaming partners
- Track key market trends across sports rights, live event workflows, monetization, and digital distribution
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- 10\+ years of experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise technology, or media technology sales
- Strong track record of selling into broadcasters, sports media companies, leagues, rights holders, or adjacent media organizations
- Experience owning and closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals
- Proven success in both new logo acquisition and strategic account expansion
- Experience with multi-year, high-value SaaS or technology agreements
- Prior experience in a player-coach or sales leadership capacity is strongly preferred

Base Salary Range: $170,000 – $190,000 USD (annual), plus sales incentive.
In accordance with local pay transparency laws, this reflects the expected base pay range for this role in the United States. Actual compensation within the range will be determined based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, training, and location.
