Job Description

Job Purpose

The Business Analyst plays a key role in driving digital and technology-enabled improvements in an Agile environment. This role works closely with users to understand business needs, translating them into user stories, and ensuring solutions deliver value.

Acting as the bridge between business and technology, the Business Analyst supports product backlogs, sprint planning, and iterative delivery, ensuring digital solutions enhance user experience, improve efficiency, and contribute to the organization’s digital transformation journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges, and pain points, and translate them into requirements and opportunities for digital improvements.
  • Document requirements as user stories with clear acceptance criteria, ensuring they are testable and aligned with business priorities.
  • Develop and document business process models to illustrate current and future states.
  • Support the adoption of new digital solutions, ensuring usability, scalability, and integration with existing systems.
  • Collaborate with data and technology teams to leverage analytics, dashboards, and reporting tools to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Facilitate workshops and Show \& Tell sessions to validate solutions against user needs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts.
  • Work closely with developers and testers to ensure clarity of requirements and alignment of delivered solutions with business expectations.
  • Monitor solution performance post-implementation and capture feedback to ensure ongoing alignment with user needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5\+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role (experience in a consulting environment preferred).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and familiarity with product backlog management and Agile frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • High level of attention to detail, ensuring that all visual and written content is accurate and meets company standards.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across different functions.
  • Good knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI.
