Job Title: Entry-Level Backend Developer

We are seeking a motivated
Entry-Level Backend Developer
with a strong interest in backend development, microservices, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will assist in developing scalable, high-performance backend applications and APIs while collaborating with cross-functional teams to build reliable software solutions. This role is ideal for recent graduates or candidates with internship or project experience who are eager to build their careers in Go (Golang) development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Go (Golang).
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases to store and retrieve application data.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews and software testing activities.
- Assist in developing scalable microservices and distributed applications.
- Document code, APIs, and technical processes.
- Stay updated with the latest Go ecosystem, backend technologies, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Go (Golang) programming.
- Good understanding of object-oriented and concurrent programming concepts.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Basic understanding of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Basic understanding of Linux command-line environment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Go frameworks such as Gin, Echo, Fiber, or Gorilla Mux.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Exposure to message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Understanding of Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
