Job Description
The Staff Speech Pathologist provides high-quality evaluations and treatments for patients with communication and/or swallowing disorders across all ages.
- They assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, dysphagia, and cognitive/communication disorders.
- Manage and supervise related programs and services.
- Counsel patients, families, and caregivers on disorder management.
- Perform evaluations such as videofluoroscopy (preferred) and develop treatment plans, documentation, and discharge summaries.
- Conduct staff training and participate in departmental operations as assigned by the Clinical Director.
Qualifications include a Master's or Doctoral degree, ASHA certification, and valid license. Experience with diverse populations and medical terminology is preferred.
