Video Producer/Editor

The Video Producer and Editor owns visual storytelling at Firefli from concept through final cut. You'll help shape the idea, brief the people shooting it, and turn what comes back into something worth watching.

This is a full-time remote position with Eastern Time availability required. Occasional travel depending on the project.

What You'll Do

• Develop concepts, scripts, storyboards, and shot lists so the visual direction is grounded in what the client is actually trying to say
• Brief and direct shooters, and give clients clear guidance when they're capturing footage themselves
• Plan production logistics: scheduling, talent coordination, budgets, and what needs to exist before anyone shoots
• Review incoming footage, flag gaps early, and figure out what to do when the material isn't what you asked for
• Own post from ingest to delivery including editing, color, sound, motion graphics, and effects
• Build motion graphics and animation that support the story rather than decorate it
• Cut long-form narratives, testimonials, and short-form social from the same source material
• Keep project files, versions, and archives organized enough that someone else could pick it up
• Work client and internal feedback into revisions and hit the delivery date
• Make creative calls that maximize production value inside the budget you have
• Show up to client conversations to present concepts and align on direction
• Stay current on tools and where visual work is heading

Qualifications and Requirements

• 3\+ years in video production and post-production
• Reel that shows range across formats and subject matter
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and current editing tools
• Experience with motion graphics or animation
• Comfortable working with source material of varying quality
• Available during Eastern Time business hours
• Authorized to work lawfully in the United States
