I’m partnered with a really impressive custom manufacturing company in the Green Bay area that is looking to add a Senior Operations Manager to their leadership team.

This is not a “sit behind a desk and manage spreadsheets” type of role.

They need someone who can walk into a fast-moving operation, bring structure to chaos, hold people accountable the right way, and lead from the floor. The environment is highly customized, deadlines move constantly, and every day is different — so this person has to genuinely enjoy solving problems and driving execution.

What they’re looking for:

• Strong operational leader who owns outcomes
• Calm under pressure and steady when things get hectic
• Someone who develops supervisors and builds teams
• Hands-on leadership style
• Not afraid to challenge things or push for improvement
• Experience in custom manufacturing, job shop, millwork, construction-related manufacturing, etc.

The cool part:

This role has real runway. The current operations leader is expected to retire in the next couple years, so there’s a legitimate path into plant leadership and eventually the management team.

The company is growing, investing heavily in operations, and wants a big-time player here — not someone just looking to maintain status quo.
