Inspire is hiring a
Senior IT Project Manager
to lead end-to-end delivery of complex technical initiatives, managing project lifecycles (initiation to closure), budgets, and cross-functional teams. This role requires aligning technology solutions with business strategies, managing stakeholder expectations, and mitigating risks within Agile framework. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience navigating the unique digital transformation and regulatory landscapes of the
Banking or Insurance sectors

Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership \& Execution:
Directs large, complex, and high-impact technology initiatives and cross-squad programs.
- Strategic Alignment:
Aligns senior business and technology stakeholders on delivery outcomes within a highly regulated financial services environment.
- Methodology \& Delivery:
Drives end-to-end delivery of initiatives, ensuring adherence to Agile or hybrid methodologies.
- Risk \& Issue Management:
Identifies, documents, and mitigates project risks and issues, escalating to leadership when necessary to ensure compliance and security.
- Financial \& Resource Planning:
Manages project budgets, resource allocation, and forecasting.
- Governance \& Reporting:
Leads governance forums, providing clear, high-impact reporting on status and KPIs to stakeholders.
- Vendor Management:
Manages vendor relationships, contract terms, and compliance, particularly with third-party fintech or Insurtech providers.
Required Qualifications \& Skills
- Industry Experience:
Proven track record in IT project management within
Banking, Insurance, or broader Financial Services
.
- Technical Understanding:
Solid understanding of technical concepts, data governance, and digital transformation within a financial context.
- Methodologies:
Strong experience with Agile project methodologies.
- Communication:
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with Product Owners, Architects, and Engineers.
- Language:
Strong English and Chinese communication skills are required
- Leadership:
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders in a matrixed corporate environment.
- Regulatory Knowledge:
Familiarity with financial regulations (e.g., AML, KYC, IFRS, or local banking/insurance mandates) is highly preferred.
Typical Focus Areas
- Insurance Product Launches:
Leading the technical delivery of new products, including the configuration of policy administration systems, rating engines, and integration with distribution channels (Direct, Broker, or Bancassurance).
- Digital Transformation:
Leading initiatives in mobile banking/insurance, web portals, and platform integrations.
- Platform Modernisation:
Managing the transition from legacy infrastructure to cloud-based environments, microservices architecture, and API-driven ecosystems
- Operational Systems:
Implementing or updating core systems such as distribution compensation, claims, core banking platforms, or policy administration systems to drive operational efficiency.
