Role Overview

As a

Snowflake Data Architect

, you will lead the design and evolution of a large-scale cloud-based Data Ingestion Platform supporting a Wealth Management client. You will define enterprise architecture standards, guide engineering teams, collaborate with client stakeholders, and ensure scalable, secure, and cost-efficient data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture \& Technical Leadership

• Define end-to-end Snowflake architecture strategy and roadmap.
• Design scalable and resilient data ingestion frameworks.
• Architect enterprise data warehouses, data marts, and modern data platforms.
• Establish standards for data modeling, metadata management, governance, and lineage.
• Design ELT/ETL frameworks leveraging Snowflake best practices.
• Lead architecture reviews and technology evaluations.
• Optimize Snowflake performance, scalability, and cost management.
• Ensure security, compliance, and regulatory requirements are met.

Data Engineering \& Platform Responsibilities

• Drive ingestion of structured, semi-structured, and streaming data.
• Design frameworks for batch and real-time data processing.
• Implement scalable integration patterns across enterprise systems.
• Define monitoring, observability, and data quality standards.
• Partner with DevOps teams to build CI/CD-enabled DataOps practices.
• Guide implementation teams through architecture-to-delivery lifecycle.

Consulting \& Client Leadership

• Act as a trusted advisor to client technology and business stakeholders.
• Lead architecture workshops and solution discussions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Influence senior leadership on data platform modernization initiatives.
• Support strategic planning, estimation, and solution governance.

Team Leadership

• Lead and mentor architects, leads, and data engineers.
• Establish engineering best practices and architecture standards.
• Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and solution assessments.
• Drive delivery excellence across distributed teams.
• Support hiring, capability development, and talent mentoring initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 14-18 years of overall experience in data engineering and data architecture.
• Minimum 5\+ years of hands-on Snowflake architecture experience.
• Proven expertise building enterprise-scale data platforms.
• Experience leading data modernization and cloud migration initiatives.
• Strong consulting and client engagement experience.
