Job Description
**Founding Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Vyxyntra
Location: Hybrid (Atlanta, GA preferred; Georgia-based required once HQ is established)
Stage: Pre-Seed (Development begins post-funding)**
About Vyxyntra
Vyxyntra is an AI-driven regulatory infrastructure firm building industry-specific operating systems for highly regulated sectors, beginning with long-term care.
Our first systems, Comply-X and Legacy Linx, are designed to replace fragmented EHR and compliance tools with a unified platform that functions as both the system of record and system of action, integrating real-time workflows, compliance automation, and operational oversight.
Vyxyntra is being built as a multi-industry operating system ecosystem, with expansion planned across additional regulated verticals including aviation, construction, energy, and more.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Founding Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the full technical vision and execution of Vyxyntra.
This is not a system-specific role. This is the CTO of Vyxyntra as a whole, responsible for building and scaling a multi-product, multi-industry operating system firm.
The CTO will initially work alongside and shadow an external development partner (Cloudester) during the early build phase of Comply-X and Legacy Linx. Following this phase, the CTO will take full ownership of internal engineering, hiring and leading teams, and establishing long-term technical execution across all current and future systems.
In addition, the CTO will lead research and development efforts for InfoCare ComplianceFax, serving as a core Phase Two expansion of the Comply-X and Legacy Linx systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the technical vision, architecture, and long-term scalability of Vyxyntra’s operating system ecosystem
- Lead development strategy for Comply-X, Legacy Linx, and future OS platforms
- Work alongside and shadow external engineering teams during initial development phases
- Build, hire, and manage a team of highly experienced engineers across multiple domains
- Lead and execute R\&D for InfoCare ComplianceFax, defining system logic, compliance structuring, and expansion capabilities
- Architect and implement AI-driven systems, including intelligent workflows, predictive models, and automation layers
- Establish internal engineering infrastructure, standards, and development workflows
- Oversee system design for security, compliance (HIPAA), and enterprise scalability
- Partner with clinical, regulatory, and operational leadership to ensure real-world system alignment
- Transition development from external dependency to full internal ownership and execution
Requirements
- 10–15\+ years of software engineering experience
- Prior experience as a CTO, VP Engineering, or Head of Engineering (required)
- Proven track record of building systems from 0→1 and scaling them
- Demonstrated experience hiring, leading, and structuring high-performing engineering teams
- Extensive experience in AI/ML systems, including model integration, automation, and intelligent system design
- Experience developing complex, scalable systems across multiple domains
- Strong expertise in system architecture, cloud infrastructure, and secure application development
- Experience in healthcare, healthtech, or other regulated industries strongly preferred
- Ability to lead both technical execution and early-stage R\&D initiatives
- Ability to operate as a hands-on, high-ownership technical leader in an early-stage environment
Compensation
- Equity-based (Founding Level)
- Salary activated upon funding threshold
- This is a non-compensated role until funding is secured
Why This Role
This is a foundational leadership position responsible for building not just one product, but the technical backbone of an entire ecosystem of operating systems.
This role requires a builder, not a maintainer.
