Position:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

Agile Scrum Master

to join us. As part of the Finance Transformation Program Team, this role will be instrumental in managing our governance framework, driving Agile transformation, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact technical initiatives aligned with our long-term organizational objective

You will work closely with fellow team members, Transformation Leads, Business Function Leads, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Technology and Data teams. You will create and facilitate key Agile ceremonies -including Sprint Planning, Quarterly Planning, Scrums/Stand-ups to ensure that initiatives are effectively planned, prioritized and executed to the highest standards and to the satisfaction of our customers and partners. Your leadership will be pivotal in cultivating a culture of agility, energy, transparency, and continuous improvement across teams and functions.

Whilst we are seeking certified Agile Scrum Masters, we are particularly interested in hands-on individuals who are willing to engage across the entire delivery lifecycle as needed. You will be pragmatic and adaptable, able to tailor your approach based on team maturity, project complexity, and business context.

You will have a background and proven execution experience (across people, process and technology) – ideally across Finance and Finance Transformation – from Procurement through Operations, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP\&A) and Corporate Accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience managing transformations and integrations of highly heterogeneous environments consisting of multiple ERP, GL, E-Procurement, Expense, Reconciliation \& FP\&A systems.

Key Responsibilities of Agile Scrum Master

  • As part of a team, lead the adoption of Agile methodology across the organization, promoting agile principles and practices, supporting teams in continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and adaptability.
  • Facilitate core agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, show and tells and retrospectives to ensure team alignment, prioritization, and delivery focus.
  • Champion, assist and teach others in Agile methods, including the writing of User Stories.
  • Lead the organization and facilitation of quarterly planning sessions across NMS, ensuring alignment with organizational SKRs.
  • Effectively capture cross functional dependencies, capacity demands, and prioritization requirements to produce an aligned actionable quarterly plan.
  • Support the Program team in maintaining a high standard of governance throughout the Delivery Model lifecycle in a hybrid framework (that combines waterfall and agile), ensuring consistent application of best practices and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Proactively identify delivery risks and impediments. Facilitate resolution through collaboration, escalation, and continuous feedback loops.
  • Design and deliver agile training workshops, onboarding sessions, and learning resources to build internal capability and foster a shared understanding of agile principles.
  • Collaborate with technical and data leadership to align team backlogs with strategic roadmaps, ensuring delivery efforts support long-term organizational objectives.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Certified Agile Scrum Masters with proven success in leading Agile transformations and delivering results within complex technical environments, enabling teams to achieve high performance and sustainable delivery.
  • 7-12 years of experience in CSM and/or Project Management related roles in Agile environments.
  • Prior experience implementing, training and championing Agile methodologies.
  • Experience guiding teams through financial transformations within heterogenous ERP environments.
  • Experience with multiple ERP, GL, E-Procurement, Expense, Reconciliation \& FP\&A systems.
  • Preferably - demonstrable experience in delivering successful outcomes in Finance Transformation programs.
  • Deep understanding of the full lifecycle of Agile and hybrid delivery models, including backlog refinement, sprint execution, release planning, and service transition.
  • Highly structured and detail-oriented, with a disciplined approach to governance, reporting, and delivery oversight.
  • Demonstrated ability to guide cross-functional teams in delivering complex initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and stakeholder expectations.
  • Expertise in Agile, Scrum and Kanban methodologies, with the ability to tailor approaches to team maturity, project complexity, and business context.
  • A proactive and engaged individual who supports teams at all levels - facilitating growth, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
  • Skilled facilitator of Agile ceremonies, workshops, and planning sessions, with a proven ability to build strong relationships across business and technical functions to drive alignment.
  • Strategic thinker with strong planning and analytical skills, able to translate organizational objectives into actionable delivery plans.
  • Demonstrable experience in governance and/or technical roles, providing a strong foundation for effective engagement with Delivery and Technical team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on clarity, empathy, and influence—able to inspire teams and drive positive change across the organization.
