Job summary:
As an
AI Robot Engineer
at VinDynamics, you will develop, integrate, and deploy autonomous behaviors and decision-making software for humanoid robots. You will work across perception, state estimation, planning, execution, and simulation to enable robust autonomous operation in dynamic human environments. Your work will bridge research and production-grade systems and directly influence the real-world deployment of our humanoid platforms.
III. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design and develop autonomy software for humanoid robots.
- Build behavior planning and task execution frameworks for long-horizon robotic tasks.
- Develop robot decision-making systems that coordinate perception, locomotion, and manipulation.
- Integrate navigation, semantic mapping, and motion planning into a unified autonomy stack.
- Work closely with AI, controls, and perception engineers to deploy autonomous behaviors on real robots.
- Build tools to improve robot reliability, debugging, and performance.
- Design and validate autonomous capabilities in simulation and on hardware.
IV. QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
- Strong C\+\+ and Python programming skills.
- Experience developing autonomous robotic systems.
- Experience with ROS2 or similar robotics middleware.
- Experience with behavior planning, motion planning, or robot autonomy.
- Strong understanding of robotics software architecture and system integration.
- Comfortable debugging complex robotic systems across software and hardware.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with humanoid or legged robots.
- Experience with BehaviorTree.CPP or similar frameworks.
- Experience with Isaac Lab, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo, or Gazebo.
- Experience with reinforcement learning or foundation models for robotics.
- Experience deploying robots in real-world environments
