About The Role
Macmillan is seeking an innovative and curious AI Learning Specialist to drive AI upskilling and knowledge initiatives. This role will design and deliver learning experiences focused on AI and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and facilitate AI training programs for employees and managers.
- Develop asynchronous AI-focused learning materials.
- Collaborate with teams to assess AI usage and needs.
- Source and partner with external vendors.
- Facilitate applied AI use-case sessions.
- Train internal AI champions.
- Provide customized AI coaching to employees and teams.
- Partner with leaders to facilitate AI and innovation workshops.
- Consult with leaders on AI learning and tool resource needs.
- Design training solutions to address identified needs.
- Conduct research on potential AI tool solutions.
- Support pilot programs and measure impact.
- Collaborate on strategic Talent Management initiatives.
- Define and track success metrics for AI upskilling.
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and delivering impactful training programs.
- Practical experience with adult learning and instructional design.
- Demonstrated expertise in providing effective coaching.
- Demonstrated experience in learning, talent, or workforce transformation roles.
- Demonstrated experience in AI upskilling, digital capability-building, or technology-driven learning.
- Proven ability to translate complex technologies into practical learning experiences.
- Track record of designing and delivering reskilling initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Highly strategic and execution-oriented mindset.
- Exceptional communication and consultant skills.
- Functional knowledge of learning management systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Background in digital transformation or innovation programs preferred.
- Relevant certifications in coaching or training a plus.
- Experience embedding inclusive and accessible principles in learning programs.
- Understanding of publishing/media industry is a plus.
- Technical background is a plus.
