AI/ML Engineer (Mid-Level) - Computer Vision, NLP \& LiDAR Systems

Job Description / Responsibility

We are seeking a

mid-level AI/ML Engineer

with strong experience in

Computer Vision, NLP, LiDAR/3D data processing, and machine learning

. You will design and deploy

end-to-end AI systems

, from data pipelines and model development to production deployment.

Core AI/ML Skillsets (Must-Have)

• Strong understanding of

machine learning fundamentals

(supervised, unsupervised, semi-supervised learning)

• Deep knowledge of

deep learning architectures

(CNNs, RNNs, Transformers)

• Experience with

model training, tuning, and evaluation

(cross-validation, hyperparameter tuning, metrics selection)

• Solid grasp of

probability, statistics, and linear algebra

• Experience with

feature engineering and data preprocessing

for structured and unstructured data

• Familiarity with

optimization techniques and loss functions

• Understanding of

overfitting, bias-variance tradeoff, and model generalization

• Experience with

model deployment and inference optimization

• Knowledge of

MLOps concepts

(model versioning, monitoring, retraining pipelines)

• Strong proficiency in

Python and ML libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn)

Key Responsibilities

Machine Learning \& Data Science

• Design, develop, and optimize

machine learning models

• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and statistical analysis
• Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets

Computer Vision

• Develop models for

object detection, segmentation, and image classification

• Work with frameworks such as

OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, YOLO, Detectron2

Natural Language Processing (NLP)

• Build NLP systems including

text classification, entity recognition, summarization, and chatbots

• Work with transformer models (

BERT, GPT, etc.

) and embedding pipelines

LiDAR \& 3D Data Processing

• Process and analyze

LiDAR and point cloud data

• Build models for

3D object detection, segmentation, and mapping

• Use tools such as

Open3D, PCL, ROS

Model Deployment \& MLOps

• Deploy ML models using

AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Build scalable APIs and inference pipelines
• Use

Docker

for containerization and basic deployment workflows

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science
• Skills Required: Machine Learning, Data Science, NLP, Computer Vision, Model Deployment, Python PySpark Databricks NoSQL API Development Documentation Azure
