Analytics Engineer, Forecasting & Revenue Intelligence

For our client, we are seeking a Analytics Engineer, Forecasting \& Revenue Intelligence to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will focus on building trusted data models that support forecasting, revenue analysis, and business decision-making. You will partner closely with Sales and Finance to ensure data is accurate, consistent, and ready for use in reporting and planning. The position blends analytics engineering with revenue intelligence, requiring strong attention to data quality, historical reproducibility, and operational rigor.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $103,000 – $185,130 annually

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dbt models on Snowflake for clean data representation
• Model data for analysis with stable keys and consistent definitions
• Ensure historical data accuracy for reproducibility
• Maintain account and sales hierarchy mappings as they evolve
• Reconcile data discrepancies between sales and finance
• Create datasets for forecasts, business reviews, and dashboards
• Implement tests and monitoring for data accuracy and freshness
• Communicate data issues and solutions to sales and finance partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3\+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI development
• Experience with dbt in production, including tests and documentation
• Strong SQL skills, particularly with window functions and incremental models
• Familiarity with the Salesforce data model and its components
• Ability to communicate data issues to non-technical stakeholders
