Application Deployment Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Application Deployment Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will focus on building reliable deployment processes, improving automation, and supporting smooth releases across multiple environments. You will partner closely with engineering and operations teams to strengthen CI/CD workflows, reduce deployment risk, and improve overall release quality. The position offers the opportunity to work hands-on with infrastructure as code, scripting, and troubleshooting in a fast-moving technical environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute deployment strategies
• Deploy and manage applications across various environments
• Develop and maintain deployment scripts and automation tools
• Design and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Monitor and troubleshoot deployment issues with internal teams
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Document deployment processes and configurations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 5\+ years of experience in application deployment or release management
• Strong knowledge of deployment methodologies and tools
• Extensive experience with scripting and automation in CI environments
• Working knowledge of Terraform and CI/CD pipeline integration
• Proficiency in system-level and integration-level testing
• Strong Windows and Linux skills, with troubleshooting capabilities
