***THIS POSITION IS HYBRID IN THE DALLAS, TEXAS AREA*
The
Application Developer II
will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting our company’s cloud application solutions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our application solutions.
Duties/Responsibilities:
As an Application Developer your primary responsibilities and duties will include but are not limited to:
- Development and maintenance of solutions created in the Dell Boomi application.
- Collaborating with GTS department teams to understand requirements.
- Serving as the primary support person for the development and customization of the NetSuite application along with supporting applications and add-on modules such as RF-SMART, WMS, Bill Capture, GL-Plugin, and other NetSuite Bundle Modules or 3rd Party Add-ons.
- Collaborating with GTS department teams to understand requirements, initiate and oversee implementation, coordinate testing and acceptance, and continued support after go-live.
- Supporting the design, development, and customization of the following MS365 applications:
- SharePoint
- CoPilot
- Power Apps
- Power Automate
- Conducting application demonstrations, training sessions, and providing technical support to GTS departments.
- Analyzing and troubleshooting technical issues reported by GTS end users, providing timely resolutions.
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including user manuals, guides, SOPs and SRDs.
- Participate in discussions and design to improve overall efficiency of business transactions flow through each application.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with GTS departments.
- Intermediate familiarity with JavaScript programming language.
- Intermediate familiarity with Application Programming Interfaces (API) of both SOAP and REST architecture.
Preferred Skills/Abilities:
- Strong note-taking skills for documenting current processes within various systems.
- Ability to connect disparate processes, as presented, to one another to create holistic understanding of overall operational workflow.
- Creating test cases for users to perform user acceptance testing.
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
- 1-3 years of NetSuite user experience.
- 1-3 years of application development (or similar) experience.
- 1-3 years of remote customer service experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
