BT-350 – Applications Developer

Skill Level: Senior

Herndon, VA (fully on-site, no remote option)

Required Skills

• Demonstrated experience with development languages Maven, Java, NodeJS, Angular, Javascript, HTML, CSS, JSON, Yaml, XML, XSL, AngularJS, Bootstrap, JQuery, SQL, or Python
• Demonstrated experience using JavaScript (JS)
• Demonstrated experience adding new features, optimizing, scaling, or improving stability and performance of applications
• Demonstrated experience applying usability and accessibility standards, user research, and user-centered design principles
• Demonstrated experience performing regression and unit and acceptance testing (UAT)

Work Requirements

• Provide full software build to include front and back-end system and sub-system components
• Perform development activities in accordance with the client's regulations and policies to include but not limited to delivering work in increments during each sprint, with regular demonstrations and feedback sessions to validate progress
• Apply knowledge of usability and accessibility standards, user research, and user-centered design principles to optimize application interface designs
• Perform development activities in accordance with the client's regulations regarding accessibility standards for Information Technology as codified by the Accessibility Standards and Accessibility Test Criteria
• Perform regression testing, execute and/or work with partners on unit and acceptance testing (UAT)
